This mattress helped me because it released many pressure points on my back and legs when I was sleeping. Because of this I had a much more relaxed sleep without having to squirm and have a restless sleep. The one thing I did not like was that the gel layer was slightly to thin - only 2.5', opposed to other 3' mattresses. However, the top layer has the gel patented technology which makes up for the 0.5' layer loss.

One thing I also liked is the hypo-allergenic material, because yes, I also suffer from allergies.

Like I said in the beginning I tried many different remedies. I found that stretching and daily exercise have been key to keeping my back pain-free. Of course I have some days where it hurts but I work through it with exercise and daily stretching. How you sleep is key.

The memory foam helps because it releases many pressure points on my back and allows my back to rest during my sleep.
